Job Description

The Kind Grower Joy Ranger shall co-lead and co-innovate the following strategic threads of The Kind Grower:

Omnichannel Commerce

Together with the Founders and Managers of The Kind Grower, The Kind Grower Joy Ranger shall co develop, co-build & co-creatively adapt the omnichannel architecture, end-to-end tech stack infrastructure, contemporaneous content and B2B and B2C customer relationships, customer service and customer transaction strategies, experiences and operations, including e-commerce.

The Kind Grower Joy Rangers shall be responsible for using diligently and effectively our omnichannel features, and keeping operationally relevant all our omnichannel strategies and implementations in order to deliver a fully transparent and relevant omnichannel experience to our existing and potential customers. The relationship of trust is paramount to uphold as the foundational core of a truly authentic & ethical omnichannel experience.

Omnichannel Product Excellence & Sales

Our omnichannel sales are supermarkets, online grocers, subscription boxes, gift hampers, group buys, food services, and collaborations with those in the marketplace ecosystem of pesticide-free fresh produce.

The Kind Grower Joy Ranger shall:

o Deliver sales of our premium products by confidently, enthusiastically and passionately educating current and prospective customers about the exceptional value of our tomatoes & cherry tomatoes, lettuce & kale, cucumber, zucchini & pepper, asian leafy, root vegetables, herbs and other new products.

o Coordinate with growers and fulfillment partners to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations including movement of goods into and out of farm production facilities as well as packing, warehousing & shipping operations.

o Drive sales through exceptional customer service from initial contact through repeat orders.

o Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, B2B & direct sales, direct mail, email, networking, and participation in our omnichannel occasions, community markets and green champion dialogues: educational events.

o Monitor production facilities and agencies to ensure that they efficiently and consistently provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.

o Work closely with the co-founders to play a key role in the development of The Kind Grower’s long term growth strategy, including strengthening our omnichannel infrastructure and product excellence.

o Work closely with co-founders to develop and implement a system to conduct data-based, continual analysis, evaluation and reporting of strategic information (revenue, product mix, margins, inventory, sustainable packaging cost, freight cost, cost of fresh produce, wastages and supply).

o Work closely with the co-founders to develop product marketing strategies including social media advertising campaigns.

o Work closely with the co-founders to develop and lead the implementation of the marketing strategy and sales promotions based on knowledge of The Kind Grower’s competitive advantage, market and product characteristics, and cost and markup factors.

o Work closely with the co-founders to manage pricing models, balancing exceptional quality, costs, and customer satisfaction.

Knowledge, Content & Education

o We host Green Champion Dialogues on our YouTube Channel

https://www.youtube.com/@thekindgrower regarding sustainability earth systems scientific knowledge, cultural values & cuisines, agritechnology, crops diversity, and consumer preferences relating to pesticide-free fresh produce. Educational opportunities shall also be created to share our knowledge regarding food sustainability, how to identify quality pesticide-free fresh produce, and also why our premium fresh produce is so unique and unlike any other.

The Kind Grower Joy Ranger shall be the product expert for our own produce, products and also the comparatives with others, in terms of the crops varieties, the product offerings, pricing, distribution, customer preferences, and untapped opportunities from the ground feedback.

An internalised and dynamic insightful knowledge of our products in the marketplace is the expected outcome.

The content articulation and distribution of product insights & innovations accomplishments and challenges, the uniqueness of sales channels adaptations and how our omnichannel is succeeding in supporting customer personalisations, shall also be furnished and enlightened by The Kind Grower Associate in our collective editorial, media production and educative endeavours.
