Job Description

The Law Society of Singapore is seeking a passionate and proactive Executive Officer/Senior Executive Officer to join their Learning and Development Department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the professional growth of our members through the development and management of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Support

  • To develop, manage and organise CPD activities
  • Assist in the on-site/virtual event management to ensure smooth delivery and quality control of events
  • Assist in marketing initiatives for programmes, including the use of Canva for simple video editing
  • Reply to queries from members and public on programme and accreditation matters
  • Maintain records, documentation and databases for programmes including budget planning, tracking and procurement processes
  • Prepare reports/statistics including Finance reports with basic analysis
  • Work together with the team to review programmes and materials to ensure continued relevance and quality of curricula
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in professional development training, project and event management or related fields
  • Resilient, detail-oriented, problem solver, and a proactive team player with a cheerful disposition who enjoys interacting with people
  • Able to multi-task and independently accomplish assignments within lean timelines
  • Able to work confidently with members of the Judiciary and legal community
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Passionate about lifelong learning
