The Law Society of Singapore, established in 1967, is the representative body for all lawyers in Singapore.
The Law Society’s mission is to serve its members and the community by sustaining a competent and independent Bar which upholds the rule of law and ensures access to justice.
We are looking for a candidate to provide general administration and accounting work for the Finance department in the Law Society. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate within a team and engage with professionals in the finance field.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assisting with accounting data entry and analysis
- Supporting the finance team in preparing monthly financial reports and statements
- Collaborating with team members on various financial projects. (Eg. Update of Standard Operating Procedures / Chart of Accounts)
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assisting with annual audit
- Assist CFO on projects / assignment(s), with supervising manager(s)
This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting, as well as the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the field.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma holder in Accounting or Business / GCE "A" Level holder
- MS Office (knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power point)
- Fast learner in computer systems
- Detail-oriented and teamwork oriented
- Able to commence work immediately
- Able to commit to a minimum of 3 months
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5.45 pm
