Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring of social media strategies in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and achieve campaign objectives.

1. Develop, implement and manage strategies of various social media accounts

2. Define social media KPIs and measure the success of social media campaigns

3. Manage and oversee social media content

4. Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies

5. Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer

6. Execute and present social media audits

7. Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is engaging

8. Monitor user engagement levels and suggest content optimization

9. Manage team resources and delegate content creation

10. Evaluate and give constructive feedback for improvement

 

Skills

1. Min. 2 years experience as Social Media specialist or similar

2. Strong copywriting skills

3. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

4. Able to develop marketing strategies and campaigns using socialmedia for brand awareness, engagement and conversion

5. Able to use data and analytics to identify trends, evaluate results (FB Insights, web traffic metrics etc)

6. Familiar with content creation tools (Eg Adobe Creative Suite)

7. Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices

8. Able to monitor and manage multiple client accounts with good time management skills

9. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
