Job Description

We're searching for a dynamic and creative individual to join our Marketing team as a Social Media Marketing Intern/Executive. You'll play a key role in shaping our brand voice, engaging our audience, and driving online sales through strategic social media strategies. This role requires both creativity and a data-driven approach, with a specific focus on leveraging SEO best practices to maximize organic reach and engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning:
    • Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand goals and objectives.
    • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify target audiences and understand social media trends.
    • Research and recommend relevant social media platforms and content formats.
  • Content Creation & Management:
    • Craft engaging and high-quality social media content, including captions, product descriptions, and visuals, that resonate with our target audience.
    • Schedule and publish content across various social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand voice and tone.
    • Optimize content for search engines using relevant keywords and SEO best practices.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Monitor social media mentions and actively engage with customers, addressing queries and fostering positive brand conversations.
    • Manage and grow our social media community through organic and paid strategies.
    • Track and analyze social media performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
    • Work closely with the Marketing team and other departments to ensure alignment and brand consistency.
    • Compile and present regular reports on social media performance and ROI.
    • Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices and implement relevant learnings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months (intern) or 1+ years (executive) of experience in social media marketing, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices for organic social media optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for crafting engaging content.
  • Creative and visual storytelling skills with experience in photography, videography, or graphic design (a plus).
  • Proficiency in major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and relevant social media management tools.
  • Data-driven approach to marketing, with ability to analyze performance metrics and draw actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for e-commerce, retail, and/or home décor is a plus.
