The Red Pencil (Singapore) (https://redpencil.org/singapore/), a registered charity, is pleased to announce an internship opportunity (full-time/part-time) in our Programmes department. Our organisation is committed to bringing the healing benefits of creative arts therapy to less privileged children, adults, and families who have experienced overwhelming and traumatic life circumstances such as life-threatening illness, violence, and abuse, for which they may have no words.

As an intern at The Red Pencil, you will have the chance to learn from experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience and make a significant contribution to our mission of serving the less privileged in our community. Our internships will offer a challenging and meaningful work experience, providing them with the opportunity to develop skills while making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Programmes Intern to join our team and support the programme team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the programme team in organising and/or providing support for creative arts therapy programmes, preparing write-ups for programmes etc.

This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain a good understanding and experience in the non-profit sector.

Programmes Intern (Full-Time)


As a Programmes Intern at The Red Pencil (Singapore), you will provide support to the Programmes and Administration department.


What you can expect to do:

  • Assist with research for art therapy programmes
  • Support with procurement of art materials and inventory
  • Assist with data entry, processing, and compilation for our reports
  • Assist with office administration tasks such as centre upkeep
  • Other administrative duties as necessary

We are looking for full-time interns that can start soon and accommodate the following schedule:

  • Office days: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
  • Work-from-home: Tuesday & Friday
