Illustrator
The Simple Sum is looking for an illustrator to help us launch our financial literacy platform in Malaysia. This person has to have the confidence to play a big role in a small team and work closely with our team in Singapore. We're looking for candidates with a can-do attitude and has the desire to help take a growing international brand into the Malaysian market.
Responsibilities:
Visual ideation and conceptualisation of comics
Working with content lead to illustrate and render comics for The Simple Sum’s social media channels on a weekly basis
Deep alignment with The Simple Sum’s style
Design and illustration of ad hoc illustrations, such as article banner images and Instagram stories
Update website and social media pages with new content
Requirements:
Ability to contribute to personal finance story angles and creative
Ability to simplify and storify complex information into easily digestible content
Can relate to Gen Z and Millennial interests and ethos
Strong Illustration portfolio
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Tablet illustration
Self-motivated team player
Attention to detail
Familiarity and interest in personal finance topics a bonus
