Overview
SCAL is looking for motivated individuals to be part of our Secretariat team to drive industry engagement strategies and programmes. These includes promoting the interests of the industry, fostering collaboration and networking among our members to create a stronger community and support system for all members, advocacy for policies that supports the interests of contractors and the industry as a whole.
Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant provides full secretarial and administrative support to the Executive Director and the Board, serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, calendar management, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, materials and presentations for meetings, minutes taking, keeping track of deadlines and project progress, maintaining organisational records with accuracy and completeness, and contact databases etc. You will also be assisting with planning and coordinating Association events, and any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Executive Director, including special projects.
Qualifications/ Your Profile
- at least 2 years of proven experience in providing secretarial/ administrative support in a diversified environment working with different stakeholders.
- possess strong organisational skills, time management and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks seamlessly and with attention to detail.
- handle confidential information with discretion and will need to have great interpersonal and communication skills with a strong command of written and spoken English.
- Language capabilities to establish effective communication with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- proactive, resourceful, flexible and adaptable, with willingness to take on new tasks and learn new skills as needed.
- ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of the team.
