Job Title - Retail Sales Associate

Job Role Description

The Retail Sales Associate to be responsible for day-to-day operations in an assigned store. He/she will participate in any sales campaigns and in additional, he/she will ensure and deliver a smooth customer experience by aligning the fulfillment of the store’s sales target orders.

This job responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:

  • Work closely with HQ teams and Stakeholders.
  • Maintain smooth operations & standard of work.
  • Ensure excellent customer service experience to customer.
  • Upsell wines to customers and cross sell related products.
  • Placing the needs and preferences of customers, provide personalized assistance and build strong customer relationships.
  • Inform & promote in-house promotions, members program and upcoming events to customer.
  • Ensure all customers’ enquiries, issues are handled quickly and effectively in a helpful and friendly manner.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, presentation.
  • Provide a clean, comfortable, and convenient shopping experience.
  • Ensure food hygiene & workplace safety guidelines are strictly followed.
  • Manage and maintain the stock on hand inventory, financial or other assets of property of the company to reduce & eliminate any losses or wastage.
  • Responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, handling of cash and operating POS system. Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure smooth efficient checkout process.
  • Perform checks of the store’s count and reconcile cash register, review, and update any necessary reports or documentation before securing the store and leaving for the day.
  • Any other operational duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in wine sales is preferred or experience in F&B and/or wine bar.
  • Passion in wines
  • WSET certified/ food & hygiene certificate will be an added advantage.
  • Well organized and good team player
