Job Description
The role of the Marketing Executive is to work with the design team under the guidance and direct mentorship of the founder. The role requires the executive to create strategies for all concurrent events and clients to generate maximum mileage and minimum costs. He/she has to work independently on daily content to make meaningful content generate value under tight deadlines. He/she must be able to attract and interact with a large sporting virtual community and network and be able to have that superior advantage on customer engagement and intimacy through website traffic and revenue, by strategically exploiting all aspects of social media marketing and above the line strategies and tactics. He/she must be willing to work late and weekends if the situation calls for it based on the clients’ needs and instruction from the supervisor. The executive will need to be out of office to meet clients with the founder and also be on-site for events and set-up.
Responsibilities
- SEO and SEM knowledge and technical skills for company and events pages’ optimization and visibility.
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive market research, channel distributions, benchmarking, messaging and demographic targeting.
- Work with the graphic designers to generate, edit, publish and share content on a daily basis to build meaningful connections to encourage our virtual community to feel engaged and heard.
- Create SOP for online crisis management specific to events.
- Create editorial social media calendar for event social media specific pages.
- Continuously capture, monitor, analyse and propose new practices and strategies for development and improvement.
- Establish robust partnerships with industry key players.
- Meet with clients or the Creative Director to determine the scope of a project.
- Ideate with the team on strategies to reach a particular audience.
- Be able to present the campaign and ideas coherently.
- Create copy for social media, website, promotional material and press releases.
Requirements
- Diploma holder and above in relevant course of study.
- Experience in SEO and SEM and all other social media channels.
- Be familiar with media buy and above the line channels.
- Motivated and resourceful individual.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think on his/her feet to make difficult decisions on-the-spot.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and team player.
- Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and multi-tasker.
