The Werkx Cafe – Creative Assistant (Arts and Craft)

Responsibilities

• Interact and assist walk-in guests to engage in the various creative activities offered at the cafe e.g. painting, leather craft, pottery and more
• Provide administrative support and liaise with external vendors.
• Handle all customer enquiries and expectations, including prompt follow-up and proper closure of enquiries.
• Manage inventory, organize materials and maintain the space for guests.
• Liaise with clients in fulfilling their requirements
• Preparation of logistics before the workshop
• Handle registrations, payments, class scheduling, student attendance and system updates
• Plan and implement the showcasing and proper storage of students' artwork
• Ensure the safety and appropriate behaviour of students in the studio
• Conduct regular inspections of classrooms to ensure a safe, clean and conducive learning environment
• Support company events and projects as and when required

Requirement

• People-oriented, with good interpersonal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Creative, meticulous, with good problem-solving skills
• Able to work on weekends.
