The Wooden Platform – Interior Design Intern

This hands-on role will see you working alongside our lead designer to bring breathtaking spaces to life. You'll be involved in every step, from researching trendy materials to coordinating furniture deliveries, and even learning 3D modeling software!

Here's what you'll get to do:

• Team up with the lead designer to create stunning presentations that wow clients.
• Hunt down the perfect materials and products to make designs a reality.
• Master SketchUp and help craft technical drawings with precision.
• Become a procurement pro, handling quotes, orders, and keeping track of samples.
• Make sure everything runs smoothly, scheduling furniture, fittings, and construction like a champ.
• Lend a hand during installation days, ensuring everything arrives and gets in place.
• Be a team player, assisting with project coordination, errands, and anything else that keeps things moving.

What you bring to the table:

• A degree or diploma in interior design (or something similar) is a plus.
• A burning passion for design and a thirst to learn everything you can.
• A keen eye for detail and a knack for spotting what makes a space sing.
• A friendly and helpful attitude, always ready to put clients first.
• The ability to handle pressure and stay calm under tight deadlines.
• Tech skills are key! You'll need to be comfortable with SketchUp, design software like Photoshop or InDesign, and maybe even Canva.
• Bonus points if you've dabbled in 3D Studio Max and Enscape.
