Job Description

Role: English & Writing Teacher Specialist (Primary School)

Our teachers are the champions of our students who respect and support every child in their classes. They are determined to provide young children who enter our School of Writing with opportunities to experience success as confident writers.

At The Writer’s Place, you will be implementing our proprietary curriculum to help students perform well in school. You take pride in keeping track of your students’ progress and development, and are self-motivated to go the extra mile to support those who need it.

You are a confident and amiable communicator who is able to build a good rapport with your students, as well as their parents. With a strong work ethic, you are eager to apply yourself. You are able to keep up a professional image, and portray yourself as an extension of our company through attire and speech.

Our ideal teacher is/has:

- Familiar with Singapore primary school system

- Fun, and able to make lessons enjoyable

- Teaching experience is preferred

- Able to commit for at least one full academic year

- A degree in related fields of Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Communications and Business

What you can expect

- Sundays are non-working days which is rare for the tuition industry 

- Days & hours of work (2022): Tuesday- Friday (12.15pm-8.45pm) Saturday (8.15am-5.00pm)

- Location: Choa Chu Kang & Woodlands 

- No over-time required. Punctuality and efficiency are valued.
