Theme International Trading – Junior Trader

POSITION TITLE: JUNIOR TRADER

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• Selected candidate will undergo a structured intensive training period of 8-12 weeks to equip the him/her with the necessary skills and knowledge to trade the live markets.
• A permanent position will be offered upon satisfactory performance after the training period. He/she will work closely with the core members of our team to learn the concepts of trading.
• Upon completion of the training period, the trainee might be given his/her own book to manage or share a book with our core traders.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Having a good mentorship from experienced traders which make learning an efficient and effective process
• Flat hierarchy structure as the firm encourages open communication within members of the team
• Long working hours, especially during training period. Be prepared to come in at 8am, and leave work after the sun sets.

REQUIREMENTS

• Fresh university graduates that have less than 1 year of working experience welcomed. No prior trading experience required
• Able to handle stress in a hectic work environment
• Able to maintain good concentration and stay calm fast-paced and noisy trading environment
• Preferably have adequate life experience in situations involving risk-reward game theory scenarios
• A team player - willing to work together to generate and share trading ideas with team members
• Possess these characteristics: hungry, hardworking and humble
• Experience in competitive gaming would be a plus point.
