This Humid House was founded in 2017 and comprises a team of designers with offices in Singapore and Paris. Our intention is to develop a language expressed through plants and flowers that is reflective of our climate, geography and collective culture.
As a botanical design studio, our focus is on the contemporary. We ask ourselves: how do we put together living material in a way that feels fresh (and relevant) today? We also straddle the timeless; finessing shape, volume, colour, line and texture to draw ourselves – and you – into an emotional connection. You will find consistency-of-thought applied across the various scales that we work at, from the boutonnière on your lapel to the design of a park.
We are committed to championing the entire spectrum of plant life that our climate is able to sustain with a particular affection for the unusual, the unruly and the uncultivated. We go to great lengths to discover and test new and exciting material to work with, and then endeavour to bring them into the fold, supported by a robust network of industry friends, suppliers, growers, agents, contractors, foragers and plant collectors.

As a Media / Marketing Intern, you will work with the Content Creator to produce excellent and on-point content pieces across various media channels to generate customer interest in products and services.
The scope includes photography and videography documentation of our work, editing and archiving the content pieces for easy access and reference in future projects.
This position is based in our Singapore studio and will require a minimum commitment of 3 months. Graduates or students studying cinematography, media, marketing or architecture who are legally eligible to work in Singapore will be considered.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Working with Content Creator to propose, create and execute content from documentation in both photo and video formats, mainly for Instagram.
- Documentation of our work, spanning from events to commercial projects and accounts.
- Editing of photos and videos with the purpose of content creation for social media
- Assist with archiving the documented content in our shared drive folders
- Assist with decks
- Assist in ad-hoc assignments when needed
What we are looking for
- Passion for social media and staying up-to-date with trends
- A sharp eye for detail and strong communication skills
- Basic interest in our subject matter of plants and flowers
- Good energy and strong communication skills
- Copywriting skills is a bonus
- Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
- Candidates with intermediate photography and videography skills will be at an advantage
