Since October 2011, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.

THKMC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the elderly and the sick, families, persons with disabilities, and children.  We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. We have more than 90 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

Job Description

THK Disability Services currently operates five long-term residential care programmes and three centres. The Service aims to provide persons with intellectual disabilities with the highest possible quality of life, especially in the areas of health and well-being, participation, independence, decision-making, and societal inclusion. Structured programmes are designed to suit beneficiaries of different age groups and profiles to train and develop capabilities in self-help, community living, socialization, perceptual-cognition, and motor skills. As an Operations Executive, you will be involved in ensuring the welfare, safety, and care of our beneficiaries in the following areas.

Responsibilities:

  • General Facility Management
  • Maintenance of Service Contracts & General Procurement
  • Fire Safety
  • Environmental Hygiene & Sanitization
  • Building Security
  • Routine surveillance checks
  • Management of Healthcare Assistants
  • Support programmes, volunteer activities, visitations
  • Assist in the de-escalation of resident conflicts and behaviour management
  • Receiving donations-in-kind
  • Provide support for Licensing Inspections & Audits

Risk Management:

  • Planning and Implementation of Business Continuity Plans
  • Planning and Implementation of Pandemic/Infection Control Response Plans
  • Business Continuity Planning for the Home
  • Improving Workplace Safety & Health (BizSafe)
  • Staff Training
  • SOP Writing
  • Implementation of IT Initiatives and New technologies

Qualifications

  • Diploma in any field
  • Preferably candidates with at least 1 yr of relevant working experience

Other Information

  • Comfortable working with persons with special needs
  • Comfortable with shift work, including weekends and public holiday
