Since October 2011, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.

THKMC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the elderly and the sickfamiliespersons with disabilities, and children.  We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. We have more than 90 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

Job Description

Programme Work

  • Work with the team in planning, preparing, implementing, and facilitating of programmes, workshops, outreach and events.
  • Participate in planning and recruitment of participants for the programme
  • Source and liaise with stakeholders on the marketing and collaboration of programme (e.g. schools, other SSAs organisations etc).
  • Prepare publicity material such as posters, pamphlets & brochures
  • Update the website on programmes and services
  • Liaise with volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the programmes.

 

Administrative Work

  • Update and complete documentation for programmes timely (i.e. programme case recordings, attendance records and feedback forms).
  • Maintain a database, track, consolidate and prepare relevant reports, budget, and statistics for the programme.
  • Provide minute taking, administrative and logistics support for meetings and programmes.
  • Manage Audit functions
  • Update programme material stocks and put up for additional stocks, when needed.
  • Collation of information and data across FSD Centres.
  • Assist in the planning and logistics of relevant training for FSD staff
  • Any other administrative work that is required by Centre Head

 

Risk Management 

  • Consolidate the SOPS for Risk management for FSD.
  • Review, revise and update risk management processes and practices

Maintain timely records and documentation

Qualifications

  • Diploma holders with at least 1 year of experience with a strong extra-curricular records
  • Preferably with experience in a social service agency (SSA) setting
