What You Will Learn
- How to work on a fast-moving content team that follow real-time metrics
- Be comfortable with social media marketing and work closely with the Community Manager
- How to craft content for the site including articles, polls, quizzes, videos and surveys with minimal supervision
Your Task
We’re looking for a driven and passionate person to join us as a Rockstar Content Intern, supporting the Lifestyle Content team and working closely with the marketing team to create content for over 6 million users.
Requirements
- Be a rockstar with your written and verbal skills - you’re capable of selling ice to an eskimo
- A social media wiz - you should know the online and mobile platforms people are using, and you think you’ll be the first to discover the next Nae Nae.
- Live and breathe content from sites like Buzzfeed, Upworthy, Huffington Post, Mashable, etc
- Be articulate! We want our rockstars to be able to clearly express their views and opinions with the team
- You’re meticulous. It drives you crazy to see a comma out of place
- Tight deadlines are what you crave and you will never compromise quality and creativity
- Exude passion for your work! We want highly motivated individuals who will take initiative
