Job Description
  • To promptly repair games and card readers
  • To carry out general cleaning of games being serviced.
  • To actively be involved with fault finding on games in Timezone venues
  • To repair power supplies, motors, chassis, PCB’s and other devices
  • To carry out conversions and games modifications.
  • To set up and install new games and the associated hardware.
  • To fix and replace card readers
  • To perform periodic games maintenance
  • To understand wireless technology.
  • To keep an electronic log of all games issues and repairs.
  • To understand how the Point of Sale and Server software is operated.
  • To actively be involved with fault finding in Point of Sale and Server computers.
  • To liaise with Timezone team members regarding games requirements.
  • To complete all paperwork as required.
  • To keep the work area clean and tidy at all times.
  • To carry out all work in a safe manner.
  • Other duties as directed.

Required Skills & Knowledge: 

  • Sound knowledge and skills in electrical/electronics or mechanical
  • Basic understanding of how videos, monitors and games work, (test functions, mechanical operations etc).
  • Skills and knowledge of maintenance tasks.
  • Skills and knowledge in basic computing components and networks.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to organise and control work out put.
  • Good communication skills

Due to the nature of our operations, you are also expected to be:

  • Flexible and adaptable to varied shifts over all opening hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Have a flexible approach to working additional hours, as the need to cover for sickness/holidays may be necessary at times.
  • Subject to higher levels of noise and activities in an interactive amusement environment

Qualifications

  • Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electronics / Electrical
