tinkermind (previously known as CG Education and Technology Solutions) was founded in 2018 with the intent to advocate for hands-on, minds-on learning approaches for schools and related institutions. Our maker-centric education programmes are designed and implemented to strengthen interest in STEAM and build capabilities in problem solving and 21st century learning competencies.
Since then, tinkermind has begun to establish a presence in the education sector, known for our ability to customize our content to the needs of our client and our transdisciplinary approach to content. We are also the appointed anchor operator for the free-to-use public makerspaces at the National Library Board’s three regional libraries.
tinkermind’s team of maker coaches and facilitators are supported by a core content development team advised by three of tinkermind’s co-founders, who have amongst themselves a wide range of experience in STEAM and maker education in local and overseas educational institutions.
Job Title: Freelance Course Trainer (Primary or Assistant)
Qualifications:
- Experience or training in your teaching topic of choice.
- MOE approved trainers would be preferred. However, applicant will be guided to apply for approval if applicant is not approved yet.
- Prior teaching or training experience is advantageous. (Classroom management experience)
- Applicants may have to attend company provided introductory in-house training before becoming applicable to teach on behalf of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Set up training locations before and after training sessions.
- Conduct training sessions for clients.
- Assist in the development of teaching materials or training aids.
