TNB Ventures – Innovation Programme Associate, Intern

The Role

This is a junior role within the Innovation Program team with the opportunity for exposure in different sectors and functional roles. Since 2017, the TNB Innovation Program team has been working on programmes that will enable our cities and beyond. Our programmes cover multiple sectors of Built Environment, Cybersecurity, Maritime, Real Estate, and others.

As an Innovation Program Associate, you will be involved in all operational aspects of our programs – from project coordination to stakeholder communications, marketing and events preparation and execution, and more.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Scouting for Start-ups

• Supporting the start-up scouting process through research
• Intensive research on the type of start-ups required for program participation.

- Marketing & Communications

• Crafting of communications with stakeholders – including writing and designing social media posts.
• Program website + CRM access and management – ensure website is constantly updated with latest news and updates
• Fully manage social media channels that TNB has, including but not limited to the following:

§ Facebook
§ LinkedIn
§ Twitter

- Event Planning and Execution

• Take on the role of admin or moderator for the online events
• Assist in dry runs, technical rehearsals
• Ensure that the programme flow is smooth
• Handle online registrations by ensuring that the registration numbers are updated daily for reporting.
• Arrangement of business meetings with selected companies

- Miscellaneous tasks – e.g., meeting notes, scheduling, spreadsheet maintenance etc…
