Scope of Work:
School Director is responsible for overall operational management, mission and vision of the school. This includes the development and delivery of the school’s program consistent with the school’s concept and goals, overseeing the school’s operations and assuring adherence to policy and procedure.
1. Develop vision and mission statements of the school with board members.
2. Establish strategic goals and develop strategic plans to reach the goals.
3. Provide the strategic advice to board members and School Founder.
4. Work closely with board members and follow directions of School Founder.
5. Oversee and implement decisions to move forward on curriculum upgrades, effective operations management and/or changes based upon the school vision and mission.
6. Manage policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure that all students are supervised in a safe learning environment that meets the approved curricula and mission of the school.
7. Establish and promote high standards, policies, regulations, and procedures for all students and staff for academic performance and responsibility for behavior.
8. Provide staff support and advice concerning appropriate practices in all the school departments.
9. Establish and manage both academic and non-academic collaboration with institutions and organizations both locally and internationally.
10. Ensure selection and employment of competent personnel to fill needed positions and act on hiring and terminating personnel on behalf of the school.
11. Collaborate and represent the school to all of its stakeholders including teachers and staff, parents, students, alumni and neighbors professionally.
12. Cultivate effective leaderships in staff at all levels.
13. Administer program budgets and payroll to maintain fiscal responsibility.
14. Accountable for student enrollment and student achievement.
15. Supervise admission and marketing to meet student enrollment goals.
16. Supervise the operation and maintenance of all school facilities.
17. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in any fields from an accredited educational institution.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, must be proficient in English.
- A Strong interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills with ability to think globally and act locally.
- Ability to generate sound solutions to the problems.
- Ability to manage difficult situations and maintain confidentiality.
- Strives to continually build skills and share expertise with others.
- Ability to balance priorities and meet hard deadlines.
- Willing to work in Chiang Mai, Thailand for at least one/two years.
