We are a leading company in the wholesale of fuel oil for various vessels. Headquartered in Tokyo, with overseas bases in Singapore, Shanghai, and New York. Established in December 2022 with 100% capital share owned by Toyota Tsusho Corporation, we aim to expand our marine business for new alternative fuels in addition to conventional marine fuels by leveraging our existing overseas sales network through collaboration with the Toyota Tsusho Group, by engaging in the development of biofuels and LNG businesses in anticipation of a carbon neutral future. 

Job Description

1. *Trading & Sales:*- Purchase and sell marine fuels (bunkers) to ship operators and owners.- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers and customers.- Execute trades and ensure timely delivery of products.

2. *Market Analysis:*- Monitor global oil markets and price trends.- Analyse supply and demand dynamics to identify trading opportunities.- Keep updated on geopolitical events that could affect fuel prices and supply.

3. *Client Relationship Management:*- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including ship owners, operators, and brokers.- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.- Develop new business opportunities and expand the client base.- Develop the Carbon Neutral initiative.

4. *Supplier Management:*- Establish and maintain relationships with fuel suppliers and vendors.- Negotiate favourable terms and pricing with suppliers.- Ensure reliable and cost-effective supply chain operations.

5. *Operations Coordination:*- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient bunker delivery.- Manage logistics, including scheduling deliveries and handling documentation.- Ensure compliance with local and international maritime regulations.

6. *Risk Management:*- Assess and manage risks associated with bunker trading activities.- Implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests.- Stay informed about environmental regulations and compliance requirements.

7. *Reporting & Documentation:*- Maintain accurate records of trades, transactions, and communications.- Prepare regular reports on trading activities, market conditions, and performance.- Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory standards.

### Qualifications:- Full-time Polytechnic Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.- 2-5 years of experience in bunker trading / sales / marketing, shipping (operations or commercial), or a related field.- Fresh graduates may also be considered.- Strong understanding of the marine fuel market and shipping industry.- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to analyse market trends and make informed trading decisions.- Proficiency in using trading software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

### Preferred Skills:- Knowledge of international maritime regulations and environmental standards.- Experience with risk management and compliance.- Fluency in additional languages, especially Mandarin, is a plus.

### Additional Information:- The role may require occasional travel to meet with clients and suppliers.- Candidates should be prepared to work flexible hours due to the global nature of the business.
