Software Engineer, Mobile (Intern / Part-time / Full-time)
We’re on the lookout for someone who has strong experience with developing user interfaces for mobile applications and keen enthusiasm to apply his/her skills to tackle one of our most thorniest societal problems - food wastage. You’ll be part of our Mobile team which constantly pushes the boundaries of the mobile experience.
As our Mobile Development Intern, you’ll build innovative products on state-of-the-art technologies that deliver fresh and exciting user experiences to users of our application. We’re searching for candidates who will share our passion for tackling complexity and building platforms that can scale.
Preferred skills/qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics, or related programming field, or equivalent practical experience
Technical knowledge of mobile application development (iOS/Android)
Significant programming experience in Swift / Java
Knowledge of UI frameworks (either iOS, Android, XML), MVP application design and complex, reactive touch-based UI.
A solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Experience writing unit tests and testable code
Strong analytical skill is a plus
Strong communication skill is a plus
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Work closely with our product and design teams to customise the experience towards optimisations
Build reusable codes / frameworks Write elegant, readable, and well-documented code
