Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prospect candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assist with proofreading, cross-checking, copy editing, and deep editing of works
  • Receiving, processing, and organising shipments and deliveries accordingly
  • Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organized
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed
  • Assisting customers in locating desired shop items
  • Informing customers of shop promotions to encourage purchases
  • Addressing and resolving customers feedback/ complaints in a professional manner
  • Processing customer payments using the shop's Point of Sale system
  • Retail-administrative duties (e.g., trace together, day-end closing of sales)
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

 

Key Requirements:

  • No prior experience is required.
  • Strong background or degree in Chinese language will be an added advantage.
  • Strong acumen in books perceptiveness and books’ contents
  • Curious, humble, and open-minded to learn new things.
  • The candidate must be willing to work on weekends.
  • Knowledge of strong proficiency in Chinese language and English language for administration is essential
  • Able to handle administrative tasks independently
