We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Intern to support our team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the tourism industry. In this role, you will work closely with our business development team to conduct market research, develop sales strategies, and build relationships with potential clients in the tourism industry.
Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the tourism industry.
Develop sales strategies and tactics to attract and win new business in the tourism sector.
Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other sales collateral targeted at the tourism industry.
Participate in sales meetings and calls, and assist in the follow-up of sales leads and opportunities in the tourism sector.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients in the tourism industry and track progress against sales targets.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our tourism products and services, and effectively communicate their value proposition to potential clients in the industry.
Assist in the preparation and analysis of sales and market data related to the tourism sector, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
Pursuing a degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, or related field.
Strong interest in the tourism industry, with knowledge of current trends and challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with potential clients and partners.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct market research and analyze sales data.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and a results-oriented mindset.
Fluency in English and any other language(s) relevant to the tourism industry would be a plus.
