Mission of the Role: To manage day-to-day payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner as well as to provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the finance function which includes completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving payments, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
- Perform vendor review, vendor balance and aging review on a monthly basis. Ensure payments are processed on a timely basis in accordance with the vendor's credit terms.
- Follow up with procurement for incomplete supporting documents before submitting payment to management for approval.
- Assist with Senior Spec to prepare and process invoice payments to make sure all invoices are paid on time and recorded accurately.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, payment vouchers and journals & ensure all records are in proper order.
- Data entry of invoices and card payments according to Companies COA.
- Prepare debit card reports.
- Assist in downloading monthly Paypal and bank statements.
- Assist in requesting invoices and making payments for monthly product partner payouts.
- Work with the MA team to ensure timely month end reporting.
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of system, policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality and ensure adherence to company guidelines and policies
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
- Any other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned.
Key Requirement:
- Diploma or higher.
- At least 2 years working experience in Account Payable role
- Candidate that able to commence immediately or within short notice
- Familiar with TT, overseas payment (IDEALS Banking)
- Proficient in MS Excel; familiar with NAV system will be a plus
- Well organized, meticulous, detailed oriented and able to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and meticulous
- Strong understanding in the finance/ treasury accounting field
- A good team player
- Able to work under pressure
