Pratt & Whitney Turbine Overhaul Services, located in Singapore, is a joint venture between Pratt & Whitney and Singapore Technologies Aerospace. Various position opens but not limited to the responsibilities listed below:
- Support the engineering team in managing acquisition, delivery and commissioning of capital equipment, turnkey solutions & ancillary fixtures/toolings for manufacturing product lines.
- Support the engineering initiative to deliver first article inspection (FAI) for various product lines, under guidance from the engineering team.
- Support continuous improvement projects for mature product lines
- Assist the engineering team for product quality
- Help identify opportunities for setup reduction, improvement strategies and process mechanization in line with engineering initiatives
- Participate in DIVE investigations and apply root cause analysis to resolve technical issue relating to equipment and process.
- Focus on a data-driven approach when analyzing problems to make objective assessments and determine root causes.
- Assist in maintaining various bills of materials (BOM), routings and work instructions in various forms in support of production needs.
- Provide technical assistance to all functional departments to meet business goals
- Prepare work instructions and standard operating procedures in line with the method of manufacture.
Set up repair capability of aircraft components which includes fixture and tooling design, repair work instructions, production layout and risk assessments
