INSPECTION INTERN (Industry Services Division)
In this role, you will get an opportunity to work within the Industry Services Business Unit. You will gain hands-on experience working with a team of inspectors on inspections and assessments of petrochemical and chemical plants pipelines for refineries, storage tanks and power plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn & conduct internal and external inspections to ensure compliance to standards, codes and documents
- Understand the plant equipment isometric drawings and preparing the drawings in AUTOCAD
- Learn & assist the team in performing Non-Destructive Testing (Advanced & Conventional NDT)
- Interpret regulations, codes and industry standards such as ASME BPVC, AWS, ASTM, etc
- Maintain equipment assigned to ensure its good working condition
- Check the technical functionalities of the test equipment and their acceptance
- Provide support on site as well as preparation and documentation of inspection/test reports
- Prepare risk assessment before commencement of work and ensure that all safety policies and procedures are strictly adhered to
- Maintain positive relationships among all stakeholders – clients, facilities, customers and co-workers
- Assist the team in NDT evaluation project or case study
- Perform other related duties and assignments as assigned
Key Requirements: -
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering or any other relevant fields
- Keen interest in Non-Destructive Testing
- Results and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication skills
- A proactive team player but with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
- Enthusiastic and resourceful with a “can-do” attitude
- Based in Singapore
