Lab Analyst (Microbiology) Intern
Aside from understanding the application of international standards to a workplace and gaining real work exposure in microbiological testing, you can look forward to developing analytical methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological testing on food, water and pharmaceutical products ensuring compliance to international standards.
- Assist to develop and validate new test methodologies.
- Support in managing the laboratory quality systems.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as assigned.
Learning Outcomes:
- Learn about international standards applicable to products and integrate the learnings to work.
- Transfer laboratory learnings and techniques learnt in school to workplace.
- Accumulate workplace exposure and hone interpersonal skills.
Key Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Life Sciences or relevant fields.
- Results and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication skills.
- A proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines.
- Enthusiastic and resourceful with a “can-do” attitude.
