Software Development intern
We are committed to continuous improvement and innovation in our work processes. We are currently seeking a motivated and talented Software Development Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing a software tool that will streamline and automate our data extraction and transfer processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the technical team to understand the current process of manually transferring of files and data from an internal software tool to a regulator software tool.
- Develop a simple software tool using Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.) to automate the extraction and transfer process.
- Test and troubleshoot the developed tool to ensure it functions correctly and meets the requirements.
- Document the development process, including user guides and technical documentation.
- Provide training and support to end-users on how to use the new tool.
- Gather feedback from users and make necessary improvements to the tool.
Learning Outcomes:
- Learn about required documentation and registry of certification details on regulated products.
- Hands-on experience in software development and process automation
- Accumulate workplace exposure and hone interpersonal skills.
Key Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of software development principles and practices.
- Experience with Microsoft tools such as Excel, Power Automate, and Power Apps is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
