Brief
We are looking for a talented mobile/web front-end designer to help us create beautiful and functional user interfaces for our product. Your role requires you to understand users very well. If working with a great team of designers and developers sounds ideal to you, let’s chat.
Job description & responsibilities
- Responsible for understanding project brief and converting that into appealing, highly usable interfaces
- Work with the product team to seek deeper appreciation of our problem/goals through usability tests
- Develop understanding of the end users of the web application or mobile application through secondary and primary research (user interviews, traffic data)
- Capable of generating user personas and user scenarios
- Prepare prototypes of site/features, storyboards, wireframes, and user flows for internal review and brainstorming
Requirements
- Strong visual and interaction design skills with demonstrated ability to create and maintain design systems
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wireframing tools
- Strong applied skills for design tools related to creating mobile and web application interfaces, e.g., Sketch, Axure, Proto.io, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc
- Understanding of HTML and CSS in accordance with building SEO-friendly and responsive web applications
- Experience working closely with or embedded within tech teams
