About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and energetic Marketing Manager with an appetite for making a difference through our consumer, branding and PR campaigns. This individual will join the UCARS Marketing Team to play a key part in growing the UCARS brand to consumers, and shaking things up in the automotive industry. You will join a tight-knit team of bright individuals who are passionate about what they do. Which is why we value aptitude (and attitude) just as importantly as work experience!

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • To support the business in marketing, brand and communications across all products. This individual should have strong marketing acumen which includes but not limited to:
  • Develop fresh marketing and communication strategies for the business in areas of brand-building but more importantly conversion.
  • Conceptualising and implementing the calendar of activities across all offline and digital channels to drive traffic, customer retention and increase conversions.
  • Lead and support A&P media and marketing spend, and agency management across both digital and traditional platforms.
  • Event/offline development and execution experience – both owned and sponsorship-based ones.
  • Support Public Relations efforts through ideating, pitching and working with agencies, media and journalists.
  • Copy-writing and development of communications collaterals
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing and branding efforts are well-executed to support the business goals.

 

Job specifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication or relevant field.
  • Strong agency/vendor management experience.
  • Proven track record with at least 2 years’ experience of related work experience in a marketing team preferably in the direct consumer industry.
  • Have holistic experience across OOH, ATL, BTL, Public Relations as well as digital media.
  • Proficient in creative ideation and campaign planning, with an ability to manage campaigns across multiple touch points.
  • Multi-tasking is key in this role and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Experience and an interest in the automotive industry is preferred, but not necessary.
