Job Description

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a well-rounded individual to join our team in a VC-backed startup on a journey to become the next global consumer goods conglomerate. As a Regional Acquisitions Intern (Business Analyst), you will be working closely with the Acquisitions, B2B Sales, Product / Tech and Deal Execution teams to support B2B market expansion efforts and improve our sales conversion funnel.

 

  • Support the Regional Acquisitions team to drive, manage and report deal flow across regions with the country teams

  • Support in planning and executing initiatives to grow the acquisitions conversion funnel, improve conversion rates and efficiency of processes

  • Support the Country Acquisitions team as the bridge between the product, tech and business teams to drive impactful, outcome-driven projects that meet delivery timelines

  • Assist in deriving data insights, identifying business pain points and opportunities, solutioning and delivering business requirements documentations

  • Assist in implementing solutions / processes / workflow automations (Hubspot CRM) to introduce efficiencies

  • Work closely with Regional / Country Acquisitions teams to help improve reporting processes and tools, perform ad-hoc analysis where required to assist in management decision making (e.g. improve performance and sellers’ engagements)

  • Assist in backend optimisation and automation of systems and processes


YOUR PROFILE

  • Penultimate / final year student graduating between 2022 to 2024

  • Preferably from a Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Business Analytics background

  • Prior internship experience, ideally in startups, tech, ecommerce or consulting

  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable with numbers, preferably some experience in VBA / programming

  • Some experience or able to dabble into tech solutions (i.e. CRM, third party software etc.)

  • Entrepreneurial, energetic, collaborative, proactive, independent, team player

  • Hands-on, action-oriented, willing to get your hands dirty

  • Possesses strong critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Strong project management and organisation skills

  • Thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment

  • Excellent communication (verbal, written and visual) and interpersonal skills 

  • Mandarin Chinese, or any other Asian languages is a plus

  • Interest in ecommerce / brand development
