Intern, Data Protection (Part Time)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Render support to our Data Protection Officer (“DPO”) in the 2 broad areas on Data Protection and Data Privacy.

Some of the responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

• Assist the DPO in the roll out of policies and procedures around Personal Data Protection Commission (Singapore) (“PDPC”) and General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”)
• Liaise with the other departments on the PDPC requirements to roll out program
• Ensure that the program rolled out complies with Head Office Rules & Guidelines under the GDPR as well as the PDPC Legislation & Guidelines
• Work on the second level control for the purpose of the Personal Data Protection
• Review and ensure that Data Protection is included and covered adequately in the Service Level Agreements both within the Group as well as with external parties based on the Data Protection Agreement.
• Work on and Co-ordinate delivery of the Privacy Policy to Corporate Customer, Banks, Non-Bank Financial Institution and Vendors.

 JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English
• Integrity and professional ethics
• Candidates with Finance or Data Protection Background would have an added advantage
• Good command of Microsoft Office products

INTERNSHIP DURATION:

• Candidates should be able to commit at least 2 days a week for a period of 6 months.
