Position Overview:
As a Cloud Security Engineer Intern, you will be part of our dynamic and innovative Security team. The ideal candidate is an ambitious and hardworking individual who is eager to learn about and contribute to our network security initiatives, public cloud security policies and practices, and management of our cloud security solutions. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn from experienced professionals in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the implementation and testing of security policies and best practices in the public cloud.
- Conduct research and analyze data related to network security including but not limited to Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Intrusion Prevention and Detection Systems (IPS & IDS).
- Suggest innovative solutions based on research and data analysis.
- Work closely with the SecOps team to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Requirements/Qualifications & Experience:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Basic understanding of network security concepts.
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent research and data analysis skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
