Upcare Aus Pty Ltd is seeking a service tester or evaluator to join our team. As a service tester or evaluator, you will be primarily be tasked to travel domestically or internationally to access and use services, assess and evaluate the quality of service, ease of accessibility, customer service and user experience.
Our social enterprise primarily operates in Australia, however will need a tester to evaluate services in Singapore, and potentially outside of Singapore.
The job is only available to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
The job allows for flexibility with a working from home arrangement, and may require meetup and travel companionship within Singapore and outside of Singapore.
Requirements:
- A minimum of age 21 years and above. (due to restrictions of services due to minimum age requirement such as casinos).
- Male or Female.
- Travel Availability: The candidate should have the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. This includes being available to travel to various locations in Australia, as well as to Singapore and potentially other international destinations as required. The candidate should be comfortable with travel arrangements, including scheduling, transportation, and accommodation, and should be able to adapt to different environments.
- Excellent English speaking and writing abilities: You have strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and articulate the benefits of our products/services.
Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: The candidate should possess excellent analytical and observational abilities to assess and evaluate the quality of service, accessibility, customer service, and user experience. They should be able to objectively analyze and provide detailed feedback on their observations. Additionally, strong communication skills are essential to effectively convey their evaluations and findings to the team at Upcare Aus Pty Ltd. This includes both written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assess Age-Restricted Services: Evaluate services with a minimum age requirement of 21 years or above, ensuring compliance, effective age verification, clear communication, and a positive customer experience for eligible individuals.
- Conduct service assessments, evaluating quality, accessibility, customer service, and user experience.
- Document detailed observations, strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Provide feedback and recommendations through comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Collaborate, communicate, and coordinate with the team to align objectives, share insights, address challenges, and improve evaluation processes.
- Assess Social Environment and Safety: Mingle and socialize within the service establishments to evaluate the target vibe and overall safety for our users. Observe the social atmosphere, assess crowd dynamics, and identify potential risks or concerns. Provide feedback on the ambiance, security measures, and any areas that may impact the safety and comfort of our users.
- Assess Accessibility for Personal or Intimate Care: Engage in the assessment and evaluation of the environment to ensure that the environment aligns to the human right of personal and intimate activities, not limited to autonomous or partnered activities. Evaluate the layout, design and privacy measures in place to safeguard a user experience.
Key Performance Indicators and Compensation:
- Probation period: During the first month, you will have a probation period. Your goal is to successfully plan and propose an activity after which an approval will be given for you to undertake that activity by yourself or with an appointed employee or management.
- For each service testing day, you will receive a base day rate of $70.00 (equivalent to 7 hour shift) and daily spend allowance of $60.00. If the user testing require additional expenses, this would need be to proposed to the approving body prior to the trip. You will not receive your monthly pay during the service testing day itself.
- Your pay will depend on you a variety of factors.
