We’re looking for a highly driven, proactive and resourceful Design and Video Content Producer Intern who is eager to get hands-on design and content production exposure in the fast-growing FinTech sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive design, infographics and video content creation for Validus’ owned channels (blog, social media, newsletters, etc.) and other communities
- Develop compelling content using motion graphics software to drive engagement with prospects and existing clients, such as product explainer videos, ad creatives and other sales enablement materials; creative copywriting skills are advantageous
- Brainstorm and storyboard videos in collaboration with marketing team members
- Coordinate and manage pre-production and production processes and logistics: Coordinate, manage and direct photo shoots and video filming on-site, including handling and setting up of camera, video, lighting and audio equipment
- Manage post-production video editing: Post-production editing work includes motion graphics, audio, background music and subtitles to elevate the raw footage captured
- Support other marketing duties as assigned
Requirements
- Fresh graduate, penultimate or final year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in any of the following: Media, Arts & Design, Advertising, Motion Graphics, Visual Communications, Mass Communications or related field
- Able to commit full-time for at least 3 months, ideally as part of academic requirements (please indicate earliest availability)
- Candidates who can start asap on a full-time or part-time basis (minimum of 2 full days a week) may also apply
- Proficiency in motion graphics software and Adobe applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects is essential. Experience with 3D illustration and Adobe Premiere Pro is advantageous.
- Excellent written and polished verbal communication skills in English is essential; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage
- Interest in FinTechs/financial services industry and its products and services
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills, resourceful, results-driven, detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- Strong work ethics including having a sense of ownership, integrity, delivering quality work and meeting deadlines
- Growth mindset, adaptability, a bias for action, insatiable curiosity, a sense of humour, humility, positivity and energy. We want someone who is eager to learn, grow and perform, open to feedback, is resilient and has the tenacity to get things done!
