Job Description

Role Description:

This trainee reports to the Sales Manager. Works closely with the Customer Service Team and interfaces with potential clients and suppliers. The trainee will be part of an established MNC Oil and Gas services provider, leveraging on our established network to identify and pursue new and existing commercial opportunities, focused on growth sectors for VIT and WAAM.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and identifying potential clients/Business opportunities/partners for both WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing) and VIT (Vacuum Insulated Tubing)
  • Prepare quotation including price and lead time based on customer and operation/scheduling inputs
  • Follow up WAAM and VIT orders and update customers
  • Develop the network of outside vendors to support WAAM orders (machining, heat treatment, testing labs)
  • Collating and maintaining client information in the Corum database
  • Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies.
  • Assist with developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analysing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
  • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
  • Technical Skills and Competencies Trainee will learn during SGUnited Traineeship Programme
  • Actively participation with market research and developing business strategies
  • To learn how to engage and communicate with external clients professionally
  • To learn how to use CRM Systems

Requirement: 

  • Degree in any field.
  • No experience is required, training will be provided.
  • Newly Graduated Students / Non Mature Mid Career Individuals/ Mature Mid Career Individuals are welcome to apply

Duration of Traineeship - 12 months

(a) 1st 6 month under SGUnited Traineeship Programme

  • Training Allowance: Up to $2,000.00
  • Annual leave: 7 days (eligible after 3 month services)
  • Sick leave: 7 days (eligible after 3 month services)
  • Medical claim: $300.00

(b) 6 months extension under company

  • Training Allowance: $2,000.00
  • Monthly CPF contribution
  • Annual leave: 7 days
  • Sick leave: 7 days 
  • Medical claim: $300.00

 

Subject to his/her satisfactory of work performance, the trainee can be converted to permanent position.
