Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) is a leading specialty IC foundry service provider. Since its founding in December 5th, 1994 in Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, VIS has been achieving continuous success in its technology development and production efficiency improvement. VIS has also been consistently offering its customers cost-effective solutions and high value-added services. VIS has four 8-inch fabs with a monthly capacity of approximately 240 thousand wafers in Y2020. VIS Headquarter is located at 123,Park Ave-3rd,Science-Based Industrial Park, Hsinchu, Taiwan ,R.O.C.

In 2019, VIS acquired Global Foundires FAB3E 8-inch Fab in Singapore. The transaction included buildings, facilities, equipment, and MEMS IPs nd related business. After the 1-year transfer period, VIS has taken over the full operation in management of the Fab in 2020, which will become the 4th Fab of VIS, as well as the first overseas Fab of VIS. VIS has reached the maximum capacity in 2018 and its customers expect the Company to expand to satisfy the growing demand. This acquisition of assets is projected to increase the annual capacity of VIS by 400,00 8-inch wafers, demonstrating the determination & commitment of VIS to expand capacity.

Job Description

Interns to be involved in: 

1. Assist in recruitment and employee onboarding process 

2. Assist in off-boarding & clearance for resignees

3. Input & Maintenance of employee data, employee logistics management and recordkeeping 

4. Provide direct support to employees during implementation of HR policies, etc...

5. Assist and support training & development planning and execution 

Technical Skills and Competencies: 

1. Recruitment and Effective Onboarding 

2. Data Collection and Preparation

3. Stakeholder and Employee Engagement and Management 

4. Gain experience with HR System, data management and record keeping 

Duration of Internship: 6 months 

Education Qualifications: This position is for both university students and recent graduates. Graduates interested in this position should possess a University Degree Qualification in HR or related field.

Working hours: Mon - Fri, 8.15am - 5.30pm

Location: 1 Tampines Industrial Ave 5

Availability: Immediately will be advantageous
