Job Description

We are looking for a Finance/Accounts intern with strong execution and organizational skills and are willing to go the extra mile. This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager and interfaces with internal stakeholders and Finance staff.


Your mission

  • Recommends improvement actions by analyzing real financial data and supporting new system implementation 
  • Participate in automation and digitalisation initiatives to improve financial insights and reporting processes 
  • Build and maintain financial models to support financial projections 
  • Assist in preparation of key decision-making tools for management 
  • Assist and prepare any required tools in the management reporting or decision process, including ensuring accuracy of data and format for submission
  • Provide accounting support including all month end closing process to ensure books are closed on time and accurate
  • Prepare invoices, update accounting files, as and when required
  • Ensure timely, accurate data entry, filing and recording of financial information
  • Ad hoc finance projects
  • Perform billing and administrative duties
  • Liaise with suppliers on payment matters

 

Job requirements

  • Graduated/about to graduate in Business, Accountancy, or a related field
  • Prior work experience with finance or accounts is a plus
  • Competent in handling of MS Office applications (in particular MS Excel and MS Word)
  • Commitment, ability to work independently, motivated and accurate
  • Receptive to feedback and eager to learn
