Job Description

As a Procurement and Project Management Intern at VFlowTech, you will be involved in the following aspects:

  • Evaluate and procure mechanical and electrical components while working with production and other operating functions regarding delivery and support matters 
  • Issue, track/monitor, and follow-up Purchase Orders to suppliers
  • Manage RMA
  • Support in mechanical design using Solidworks
  • Assist the project management phases, tracking project timelines based on product development process 
  • Support design control procedures to take a design from concept, verification, release, purchasing to manufacturing execution
  • Support the project teams in assessing and maintaining risk analysis with well-developed and documented mitigation plans
  • Clearly communicate project status, roadblocks, and escalations to management and stakeholders
  • Support project manager on program scope, schedule, budget, and risk management

Your mission

  • Learning on redox flow batteries and their value chain.
  • Understand the components used in flow batteries
  • Learn to screen and source mechanical and electrical components from local and overseas supplier
  • Learn to negotiate on the quality and price

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Materials engineering, Business or Supply Chain and Logistics
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Should be self-starters and be able to work with minimal direction
