We are looking for an Operations Executive Intern to support the daily operations of our immersive exhibitions, including Harry Potter: Visions of Magic and future experiences.
As an Operations Intern, you will assist in guest experience coordination, queue and crowd management, VIP handling, and operational logistics. You’ll gain hands-on experience in live entertainment, exhibitions, and event operations, ensuring visitors enjoy a seamless and engaging experience.
This internship is ideal for students pursuing Hospitality, Events Management, Business, or related disciplines who are eager to gain real-world experience in a dynamic guest-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of immersive exhibitions at various locations.
- Support the opening and closing of exhibitions, including daily summary reports.
- Manage and assign duty stations to part-timers.
- Provide Level 1 technical assistance to troubleshoot minor faults in audio-visual and interactive exhibit equipment.
- Assist in queue and crowd control to maintain a smooth guest flow.
- Facilitate guest interactions at interactive stations and enhance visitor experience.
- Coordinate and assist in VIP visits for key stakeholders, including NEON and partner teams.
- Support retail and ticketing operations as needed.
- Gather and report visitor feedback for operational improvements.
- Ensure the venue is clean, organised, and well-maintained throughout operating hours.
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Hospitality, Events Management, Business, or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first approach.
- Interest in event operations, exhibitions, or themed entertainment.
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable in a customer-facing role, handling queries and guiding guests.
- Team player with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
- Able to commit to a 5-day work week, including weekends if required, based on operational needs.
Bonus Skills (Not Required but a Plus!):
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or events management.
- Familiarity with queue management, scheduling, or visitor analytics tools.
- Basic knowledge of POS or ticketing systems.
