Victus Catering – Catering Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of food and beverage items for events, reporting to FOH manager
• Perform serving duties at lunch time, which includes plating and distributing food
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and service area before, during, and after events.
• Support kitchen staff by performing essential tasks such as washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and assisting with inventory checks.
• Adhere to food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Engage with guests and clients in a polite and friendly manner, handling inquiries and concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work cooperatively in a team.
• A commitment to high-quality service and food safety standards.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift at least 5kgs
