Founded In 1980, Unicurd began producing hygienically packed tofu in a factory in Aljunied. Unicurd introduces to Singapore the first hygienically packed pasteurized silken tofu, in hygienically sealed boxes and in tubes which was an instant success.

By 1982 the business expanded and soon run out of operation space. A bigger factory in Ang Mo kio was bought over to meet the increasing business demands.

In 1996 the company moved into its newly constructed 2700 square meter factory in Senoko, with over S$3 million of state-of-the-art tofu manufacturing equipment.

In April 2008, Vitasoy International Holdings acquired the entire issued share capital of Unicurd. As a result, Unicurd becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of the Vitasoy Group.

In 2008,Unicurd was acquired by Vitasoy International Holdings Limited (VIHL) Limited through its subsidiary Vitasoy Investment (Singapore) Pte. Limited. With this, Unicurd can expand its soya product business in an international scale and provide a strategic role for the group consolidation in the Soy.

Job Description

Responsibilities for Regulatory Affairs Intern

  • Provide assistance on day-to-day and projects activities on regulatory affairs aspect to Group Manager (ASEAN)
  • Prepare & review regulatory requirements i.e compliance, label review, document reviews, ingredients review for projects or daily operational support based on task / priorities.
  • Assist on documentation uploads and share point management to ensure all relevant documents are renamed and stored accordingly.
  • Work with regulatory stakeholders to identify required way-of-working and business norms and document these workflows after approval. This will be used to establish governance framework.

Essential Skills

Have eyes for detail with the ability to adapt to fast-paced project requirements. Organizational and follow-through skills. Microsoft-Office is used as main communication tool thus proficiency is a must. Having a positive attitude and proactive approach to problem solving, reliable and outcome driven is much appreciated.

Education or experience in food regulatory would-be a plus.
