Vysystems – Account Executive

• Ensure compliance with ASL HSSEQ policy and procedures.
• Prepare full set of accounts for assigned vessels up to monthly closing, subject to review.
• Issue invoices per contractual agreements, monitor payments, and report discrepancies.
• Manage accounting transactions (invoices, expenses, payments, payroll) and update ledgers.
• Prepare cheques for timely payments.
• Review victualling and additional costs statements, and reconcile with budgets.
• Produce periodic financial reports for senior management, reviewing actual costs against budgets.
• Assist in preparing yearly financial reports.
• Develop analytical monthly accounting reports using DANAOS.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Accountancy/Finance/CPA/ACCA or related field.
2. Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, specializing in vessel accounting with analytical reporting in shipping.
3. Proficiency in accounts, tax, and GST reporting.
4. Strong team player with hands-on and meticulous work ethic, capable of meeting tight deadlines.
5. Prior experience in Shipping/Ship Management industry is essential.
6. Experience with DANAOS accounting module preferred.
