Waistlab – Retail Supervisor

The Role:

As a Retail Supervisor, you are responsible for giving our Women of Waistlab (WOW) the best experience and work hand-in-hand with our Store Manager in maintaining the operations, cleanliness and achieving Monthly Sales Targets in our very first retail store. You will also have an opportunity to move into a management role.

This position is paid monthly, with commissions available.

Your day-to-day:

Operations

• Work hand-in-hand with Waistlab to achieve Monthly Sales Target for 13A Bali Lane. You will be responsible for setting the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and motivating the team to achieve the target.

• Scheduling of other employees for the week, with the approval of the Store Manager.

• Maintain our store's cleanliness and presentation, and assist with the opening or closing duties. You will also take charge of visual merchandising to ensure that the products are presented well.

• Inventory management, including conducting regular stock-checking and stock replenishing. You will also be responsible for updating weekly to the Store Manager for stocks to be replenished in our retail store.

• Supervise and organize the activities of the Retail Advisors in our retail store, providing guidance and support in their daily work, and ensuring daily operations are timely, organized and efficient.

Customer Service

• Assist customers in picking the correct size for their body type. This includes measuring women’s bodies so you must be comfortable working with women’s bodies.

• Be persuasive in offering product recommendations based on the customers’ needs.

• You will be utilising the Point of Sales system and managing exchanges and refunds in store.

• Answer phone inquiries/calls and Direct Messages from our customers in-store from our company phone and intercom on both weekdays and weekends.

• Other forms of assistance to support the company’s interest, maintain security and growth.

To be successful in this role, the requirements are:

Years of experience

• Prior 2 years of working experience in a customer service or retail-related role

Skills required

• Passionate about providing every customer with the best service in Waistlab.

• A team player who is able to perform in a fast-paced environment.

• Active listener and effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback.

• Must be prepared to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.

• A keen interest in shapewear.
