Retail Store Supervisor (12-month Contract)

Who You Are

You are an experienced store supervisor with some solid retail experience, preferably as a senior team member/shift supervisor. You are a customer focused individual dedicated to helping customers find solutions. You have a genuine love for retail (bonus points if you are interested in women’s shapewear), and you’re a people person who possesses leadership and managerial qualities.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee staffing, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees.
• Support daily operations such as (but not limited to) performing cashiering duties, attending to customers, inventory stocking, and recording and merchandising in accordance to Company Standard Operations Procedures (SOP).
• Keeping records of sales figures and sales receipts, and managing and organizing them.
• Ensure that the daily sales reporting is sent to Management in a timely manner.
• Responsible for End-of-Day reporting and tallying of POS and all Sales Captures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store to the highest standard, monitor shelf stocks and product displays, and upkeep the general appearance of the store.
• Train new staff members and scheduling shifts.
• Motivate employees to achieve targets.
• Other duties assigned by Management, such as assisting with marketing by creating content at the store.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar, with at least one year of experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
• Competency in POS solutions.
• Proficiency with Shopify, spreadsheets and word processing software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with applicable health and safety standards.
• Exceptional customer service and sales.
• Able to work retail hours.
• A positive attitude and a dedication to grow the brand. Must be able to adapt to changing business environments and needs.
