Accounting, Reporting and Monthly Closing Activities
Ensures that monthly / annual closing activities are accurately completed in time in accordance with corporate timeline.
- Monthly Revenue and Opex accounting, including accruals / deferments.
- Maintains Fixed Asset Register
- Prepares the reconciliation of balance sheet schedules in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Thorough review / settlement of outstanding intercompany payable on biannual basis
- AP, AR and treasury functions covering 3 areas - (1) Client quotations, contracts and billing (2) Accurate and timely processing of vendor POs and invoices (3) Petty cash and operating cashflow control
Statutory Audit & Related Activities
- Liaises with auditors to coordinate yearly statutory audit and filings.
- Prepares Management Report
- Manages auditors’ requests and queries within stipulated deadlines.
- Prepares audit schedules and inter-company confirmations.
- Assists in reviewing of draft audited Financial Statement with detailed explanations to Financial Notes
Tax-Related Activities
- GST reporting and filing
- Coordinate Corporate Tax reporting and filing with Tax Agent
- Other indirect taxes for the APAC Region
Legal Activities
- Assists the Senior Finance Manager in liaising with Corporate Secretary for execution of legal documents.
Financial Planning & Analysis Activities
- Provides monthly financial reporting and analysis, as well as provision of ad-hoc reports to key stakeholders.
- Conducts weekly check-ins with stakeholders for revenue pipeline movements, as well as analyse weekly and monthly gaps to target.
- Assists the Snr Manager in preparing monthly forecast of P&L performance.
- Performs monthly analysis and investigation of P&L variances.
Others
- Corporate card administration
- Maintenance of WTTW’s news portals subscription list, trademarks and online domain ownerships
- Preparation of client’s agreement / scope of work
- Manage a tidy internal document management system for all finance / administration / legal documents.
- Liaison with Clients / Vendors to address any finance-related issues.
- Manage ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned.
What qualifications will set you on a path to success here?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and or finance.
- Fresh graduates or those with 1-2 years’ accounting experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong technical accounting background and knowledge of GAAP and international accounting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office. Microsoft Dynamics AX and Power BI experience is a plus.
