WE Communication – Internship Programme
Our internship programme provides graduate who has strong passion in Communications the opportunity in gaining practical work experience through on-job training, you will be assigned to our Account Servicing Team to participate in various activities and projects from which you will gain valuable insights for your career development by learning more about yourself and lay solid foundation for our career.
The internship programme is under 3-6 months full time basis. Interested parties must be able to commit a minimum 3 months full time training. Full time employment may offer to intern upon the completion of the internship programme based on work performance and business needs.
Interested parties, regardless of your academic disciplines, have a passion in Brands Communications/Marketing are welcome to apply.
•Support the Account Management Teams providing daily media monitoring services to clients with minimal supervision within the set deadlines
•Draft media relations materials such as media invitations, fact sheets, backgrounders, executive biographies under supervision
•Develop and maintain media contact lists and databases
•Conduct researches on media landscape to identify client-relevant coverage including competitive market and industry information
•Analysis and provide recap for client and competitor communications programs/campaigns.
•Coordinate logistic and schedules for media personnel regarding client events and projects through proactive outreach and/or onsite support
•Schedule and coordinate meetings and keep participants advised of any changes
•Handle various projects and act as a resource for the Account Management Teams as required
Job Requirements:
•University or Polytechnic graduate, preferably in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Communication, Translation or related discipline
•Good translation skills, be able to translate Chinese articles into English or vice versa is a bonus
•Familiar with social media tools such as blogs, microblogging, social networks, RSS, etc.
•Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
•Good interpersonal and communication skills in English, able to read and write Chinese is a definite advantage
•Ability to organize and prioritize work at all times, including high priority under high pressure situation
•Good understanding and passion in PR and marketing communications
